Rebuilding Sri Lanka

Rebuilding Sri Lanka (RSL) was founded in the aftermath of the tsunami on Boxing Day 2004 initially for emergency relief of housing, food, clean water and medication.  One of the founder shareholders of Cavendish Trust was caught up in the tsunami and has been involved with RSL from the beginning.  After the relief effort RSL has concentrated on the educational and nutritional needs of the many orphaned and impoverished children, having opened eleven libraries throughout Sri Lanka as well as three schools. RSL also has numerous projects helping the widowed and disabled. Cavendish has supported RSL for over 10 years.
